Free community event - Health by Design’s 5th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair
Health by Design is opening its doors on October 17th 10-2pm and hosting a free community event, joined by other businesses to support a healthy, alternative lifestyle and offer alternative solutions to treating and preventing breast cancer.
This family-friendly event will include free samples of elderberry syrup for immunity, alternatives to mammograms, free health screenings and Dr. Kristy will be sharing her personal story about breast health and how you can use nutrition to treat and prevent breast cancer. There will also be fun giveaways and prizes, and kind friendly activities.
“Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. Currently, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer” (Source: Cancer.org). In response to these drastic statistics, Dr. Kristy believes “There is Hope and you have options”.
The community event will be held on October 17, 2020 10-2pm at Health by Design, located at 2002 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
